This is an excellent vintage IWC (International Watch Co) which dates to 1954. 
 
For its age, the watch is in great condition. The solid 18k Gold case is very nice with the case back fitting tightly and minimal gaps around the edge. It measures 35mm in diameter excluding the crown, a large case size for this era. The case back shows some minor signs of its age with some light scratches etc. 
 
The dial has a domed, or pie pan shape. Again, for its age it is in very nice condition with some light, even patina to the centre. 
 
The automatic Cal.8521 movement with date function has been professionally serviced and come with receipt and 12 months warranty from the watchmaker (As of August 26).
 
The watch has been fitted with a brand new leather strap and new crystal. It also comes in a very attractive vintage IWC box.
