This is an outstanding example of a vintage Smiths Imperial watch.
 
This particular model has a very heavy 9k gold Dennison Aquatite case which weighs 20 grams. Exceptionally heavy for this era. It measures 33.5mm in diameter excluding the crown. For its age, the case is in very good condition with light signs of wear. 
 
The cream coloured dial with gold hands and markers is also in very good condition. It has 'Made in England' printed at the bottom, rather than later models having Britain etc. 
 
The hand wound movement is running well and keeping good time for a vintage watch. 
 
It has been fitted with a brand new leather strap and crystal. It comes in a vintage Smiths box which is in excellent condition as well as outer card box. 
 
This is a real collectors piece.
