This is a very rare full set!
This particular Tudor, who were owned by Rolex, has a solid 9ct gold case. The case measures 32mm in diameter, excluding the Rolex signed crown. There are some signs of wear and use, which is to be expected. This case, is one of those actually made by Rolex and it bears the logo on the inside.
The dial is in good overall condition, with light wear.
The hand wound movement is running well and keeping good time for a vintage watch.
The watch was presented to W.E. Millard in 1967 by Garringtons. Unlike many presentation watches, this comes with the original insurance certificate in his and Garringtons name, the same as the original guarantee. It even has the original envelope!
It has been fitted with a new crystal and has a new leather strap with the original Rolex buckle fitted.
In addition, it has the inner box, stamped with Garringtons and the outer card box.
