This is a vintage Navitimer 0816 which dates to 1968.

It has an extra large case which measures 47mm in diameter excluding the signed Breitling crown. This case is shared with the left handed Chrono-Matic 1806. This case remains unpolished but good vintage condition. There are marks and scratches in line with its age. The case back shows the Breitling name, model reference and serial number. These were originally very shallow.

The black dial has a striking resemblance to the well knows Navitimer 806. This particular one has a nice overall patina to the central black section, but with a very good outer slide rule. The lettering and markers are very crisp. The watch has a very striking orange second hand as well as 2 smaller orange sub dial hands. 

The outer black bezel rotates in both directions. This then turns the inner slide rule. 

The hand wound movement is running well and keeping good time for a vintage watch. All of the chronograph functions are working correctly. 

The watch has been fitted with a brand new Geckota strap and comes in a used Breitling box.
