This is an excellent vintage Cartier Panthère XL which dates to the late 1990's.
 
This XL model was the largest in this range, measuring 29mm in diameter excluding the crown. Although this seems small, remember that Cartier watches have always been smaller in design as well as the fact that square watches wear much larger on the wrist than round ones. This was the Mens version however it could be worn as a larger watch for a lady.
 
The case on this watch is in very nice condition for its age. The bezel remains polished and the rest of the case satin. There are some minor marks to the rear from where it has been rubbed on the bracelet when not being worn. Not of much concern for a watch over 25 years old. 
 
The dial is of a very traditional Cartier design with Roman Numerals. It has the small Cartier name as part of the number 7 and a date window at the right hand side. 
 
The quartz movement is working perfectly, keeping excellent time. 
 
The 5 row bracelet has satin end links and 3 rows of polished centre links. It has a signed Cartier fold over clasp. For its age, the bracelet is in excellent condition. The total length of the watch and bracelet is 18cm. Links can be removed, or additional links purchased from places like eBay.
 
The watch comes in a vintage Cartier box.
