This is a really interesting and quirky Omega Dynamic 166.079 and dates to 1971.
The watch has a stainless steel case which measures 41.5mm in diameter excluding the signed Omega crown. For its age, the case is in good condition with some signs of wear but retaining the brushed finish. The watch has a locking ring on the rear, which when unscrewed, releases the main case which can then be fitted onto a Dynamic leather strap.
The striking blue dial is also in good condition for its age, with some marks. It has a bullseye design. All lettering and markers remain crisp and clean. The date wheel is in French.
The automatic Cal.752 movement is running well and keeping good time for a vintage watch.
The watch comes with a stainless steel bracelet which measures 19.8cm in total length, with the ability to reduce in size by the removal of links or adjustment within the clasp.
The watch also comes with its original and heavily worn strap. This has the original buckle which could be fitted to a replacement strap. These are available at low cost on eBay. The watch has also been fitted with a brand new crystal and comes in an Omega box.
